Q: What is Dirty Jerz Mopar/DJM?
A: Founded March 2nd,2015- Dirty Jerz Mopar is a car club that is comprised of enthusiasts for the Mopar line of cars. Member cars fall into one of the Mopar vehicle categories. Dirty Jerz Mopar operates in the Southern New Jersey/Philadelphia Metropolitan area and offers weekly and monthly “meet and greets” as well as annual events. You will find something for everyone’s schedule and taste!
The Dirty Jerz Mopar family participates in a wide range of events including charity runs, fundraising, and other Mopar gatherings which support our Mission Statement. Dirty Jerz Mopar prides itself in being a family oriented Mopar car club. We welcome all Mopar car enthusiasts and their families to participate in club events to enjoy discussing our favorite things: Mopars, Mods, and the Dirty Jerz Mopar family!
Q: How did Dirty Jerz Mopar start?
A: We (five founders) founded DJM on March 2nd of this year 2015. There wasn't anything around our area, or really surrounding area where people into Mopar could just meet and hang to talk and learn about their vehicles. We have since grown pretty well and are still learning each day, but really nice part is our members are active (Some very Active) and have really helped us become and up and coming Mopar group.
Q: What does Dirty Jerz Mopar mean?
A: It doesn’t mean a bad or dirty. It was picked from a long list of names submitted by the original founders at the start in 2015. It was a play on words (like the dirty south) that we decided was catchy and would get people asking who we were.
Q: What does Mopar mean?
A: Mopar is the parts, service and customer care organization within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Mopar also designs and builds a small number of customized vehicles. The name derives from a combination of letters from the words «MOtor» and «PARts»
The term was first used by Chrysler in the 1920s and was introduced as a brand starting in 1937. Mopar parts are original equipment manufactured parts for Chrysler vehicles. The term “Mopar” has passed into broader usage among car enthusiasts as an unambiguous reference to the parent company Chrysler Group LLC.
The term has thus become an inclusive word for any Chrysler-built vehicle—most any Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth, Imperial, DeSoto or Dodge Trucks/Ram, plus Jeeps vehicles built after Chrysler's 1987 buyout of American Motors (including the short-lived Eagle brand) and, since 2011, Fiat and Alfa Romeo following Fiat's takeover of Chrysler. In Canada, these were sold under the Chryco and AutoPar brands until the Mopar brand was phased into that nation's market, starting in the late 1970s.

A: Dirty Jerz Mopar is a family friendly car club that provides a way for its members to gather and take their Mopar ownership to new levels. Members exchange information, educate themselves, and express creativity with other like-minded enthusiasts. Dirty Jerz Mopar encourages a Members Helping Members approach by organizing local events, road trips, car shows, and mod meets. As well as supporting other members in a time of need.

Q: Do the members ever get together to hang out?
A: Our events are great for getting to know fellow club members. It is a very relaxed atmosphere giving everyone the ability to really interact. If you have some spare time and want to hang out with your fellow members come up and check us out.

Q: What vehicle models are allowed in the club?
A: Any vehicles classic or modern that fall under the Mopar criteria.
Q: My car is 100% stock, am I still welcome?
A: Stock, Modified or Extreme – all are welcomed. The mod bug will bite you as soon as you see the countless possibilities/modifications you can do. Once that happens our club members will be there to help you with your mod list. And point you in some direction on where to have work done. And some members are willing and able to help out with mod installs to.
Q: How much are club dues?
A: Dirty Jerz Mopar membership is FREE! Dues Free and Stress Free. We operate 100% from member driven donations and participation. If you would like to contribute please visit our main website and click the donate button.
Q: Dirty Jerz Mopar advertises itself as a ‘Family-Friendly’ car club — are ALL events ‘Family-Friendly’?
A: All events hosted by Dirty Jerz Mopar are family friendly. We take pride in being able to offer events where our members can bring out their families. Events hosted by other event organizers might be deemed “questionable” but the Club Staff will make efforts to either remove those events from our site, or include the necessary information for each member to make an informed decision regarding their attendance.
Some members will do meets or get-togethers that are 21+ older based locations. (Bar&Grills, Brewery’s, Shows) But these will be listed with information regarding so.
Q: What do I need to become a Dirty Jerz Mopar member?
A: Our website provides you with all the information you need to understand what this club is about. But our main (2) two requirements are a signed and turned in Rules Of Conduct form, and (2) event showings of your choice in a calendar year. That’s It!! Obviously we would love for you to make more than two but this keeps the pressure down on our members also. Once the new member application is completed you will continue to be provided with information about Dirty Jerz Mopar and our events. The website allows you access information about the scheduled events and RSVP to the events you will be able to attend. We want to meet you! Give us a chance and come out to one of our meet & greets.
Q: What type of events does Dirty Jerz Mopar attend/host?
A: Dirty Jerz Mopar attends and hosts many different types of events. Including, Meet & Greets, Car shows, controlled Racing events (Track & Autocross), Picnics, Mod days, Charity fundraisers and many more. Our club has a wide range of events and activities that are sure to keep you engaged.
Q: Are events ever cancelled?
A: Unfortunately, yes. There are many different variables to consider when canceling an event. Once the decision has been made we will update you through our website and social media pages.
